Reservation Policies
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. We require an advanced deposit for the term of your stay and tax, charged at the time the reservation is made.
- No rollaways are available for any room.
- No pets are allowed.
- Free limited WiFi is available to all rooms.*
Cancellation Policy
We get it — life happens, and sometimes plans don't work out. When that happens, these are our firm policies for all guests and all reservations. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
Refundable, subject to a processing fee — or convert your deposit to a gift certificate for future use at no additional fee.
Non-refundable. Can only be converted to a gift certificate at half the value of the original deposit.
No refund. No-show reservations and early departures also do not receive any refund, regardless of the reason.
All refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee, regardless of why your plans changed or current factors impacting travel on the Big Sur coast. Any credit card changes to your deposit or stay will also result in a 6% processing fee.
Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee road or weather conditions — including fog, rain, hail, lack of streetlights, falling rocks, lightning strikes, animals on the highway, lack of GPS signal, or lack of cell service.

Good to Know
Check-In & Check-Out
Begins at 4pm. If a room is vacant and clean prior to 4pm, we're happy to check you in early.
11am. Late check-outs up to 3pm are charged a half-day rate; after 3pm, a full-day rate applies.
Rooms include down comforters, but do not have telephones or televisions.
All rooms accommodate up to 2 people.

Wildlife Protection
Harassment or disturbance of wild animals is prohibited by federal law.
Leave No Trace
Collecting shells, rocks, wood, plants, or animals is not allowed. All features of this reserve are protected by law.
Fire & Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in buildings. Fires of all types are prohibited.
